About the Event
In 2018, United Way of Tarrant County, TX was awarded funding by the Administration for Community Living for a project entitled “Falls Infrastructure Expansion and Integration Enhancement (FIE2)”. One of the primary desired outcomes of this project was to develop an accessible electronic class scheduling and coordination system to strengthen the infrastructure, efficiency, and communication of the falls prevention network in TX.
This presentation will discuss how Texas Healthy at Home, 501c3 addressed the longtime need for such a system and put ideas into action through licensing the use of Juniper, a web platform that supports the delivery of health promotion programs, including an array of evidence-based fall prevention programs.
